A bit about me.
I'm Boris. 28, from Slovakia, now living in Chicago.
I came to North America in 2022 with one plan: grow. Started at TOPS in Toronto, moved to Chicago in 2026. Same company, bigger job. In my free time I learn AI by building things, because the best way to understand a tool is to make something real with it.
Before business, it was volleyball. I played at the top level in Slovakia, won silver and bronze in the Extraliga with Nitra and medals at youth beach nationals. In Canada I took 2nd and 3rd at Nationals as a player and 2nd as a coach.
Volleyball taught me most of what I know about pressure and losing. You lose a lot before you win anything. I still play when I can.

What I'm focused on.
Work
National Account Manager at TOPS Products. I own the P&L for Amazon Canada and for the Filing and Notetaking categories on Amazon US. Brands like TOPS, Smead, Oxford, Pendaflex and U Brands. Thousands of products, ads, promos, inventory. Something breaks every week and I'm the one fixing it. I like it that way.
Learning
Most of my free time goes into AI. I build small apps and tools to see what's possible and to learn how the tools really work. Qualo scans food ingredients, UboMed helps med students practice clinical reasoning, and at work I built a Deals Planner with Claude that plans our monthly Amazon promotions. Pierko was my first startup back in Slovakia, a shuttlecock kick toy from Vietnam. It taught me more than any course.
Life
Volleyball since I was 12. Golf, tennis, pickleball, gym, bike, soccer. Chelsea fan in good years and bad ones. Learning ukulele, slowly.

Deals Planner
An Excel model I built with Claude to plan monthly Amazon promotions. It pulls sales history, the demand forecast, inventory and budgets, scores every item, flags supply risks and builds the deal list wave by wave. It saves me hours every month. Next step is turning it into an app.
