About
I'm Boris, 28, originally from Slovakia, currently based in Toronto.
I came to North America in June 2022 and haven't looked back. By day I run Amazon e-commerce for major brands. On the side I build products, think about systems, and look for the next problem worth solving.
Before any of this, volleyball was my life. I competed at the highest Slovak club level, with silver and bronze medals in the Extraliga with Nitra, beach volleyball medals at youth nationals. I brought that same competitive drive to Canada: 2nd and 3rd place at Canadian Nationals as a player, and a 2nd place finish at Canadian Nationals as a coach.
The sport taught me more about performance, pressure, and resilience than anything else. I still compete sometimes. Some habits are worth keeping.

What I'm focused on.
Work
Running Amazon e-commerce at TOPS, managing the Filing portfolio across US marketplace brands Pendaflex, Smead, and Oxford, plus the full Canada account. The day-to-day battle is against aggressive 3P sellers: lost buy box, pricing erosion, and competitors who don't play by the rules. It keeps you sharp.
Building
I'm co-founder of UboMed, a clinical decision support tool for medical students and residents, helping them make better calls when it matters most. I also built ContaNexa, an Amazon content generator, and Qualo, an AI-powered food ingredient scanner. Pierko was my first, a small e-commerce startup that taught me more than any course could. UboMed is the one I keep thinking about.
Life
Volleyball since age 12, still on the court sometimes. Golf, tennis, pickleball, gym, bike, soccer. Chelsea fan through the highs and the lows. Currently learning ukulele.
